Not all kids have the opportunity to be involved in sports. For those who dream of scoring a goal or hitting a home run, it’s all made possible through KidSport. KidSport ensures no child in St. Albert is denied the opportunity to play the sport they love, lead a healthy and active lifestyle and to make new friends through sport.
160 players representing 16 teams will take to the diamonds in support of KidSport in their efforts to provide financial assistance for registration fees and equipment needs to children under the age of 18. In 2016, 147 local kids were positively impacted by KidSport funding.

“I just wanted to let you know how grateful my family is for this program. My kids love baseball, but this year we were not able to afford to register them. Thanks to KidSport, both my kids were able to continue with baseball. It’s so important to us that even in hard times, our kids are still able to participate in the sports they love.”
